I am very excited to announce that my newest book, Shamanic Egyptian Astrology:  Your Planetary Relationship to the Gods, co-written with Ruby Falconer, is available two months early!!!!

Encrypted in the language of Western astrology is a description of the wounds we have suffered over the last 3,000 years. This language has served us well, because we are a wounded planet.The mythological symbolism of ancient Egypt is older than the Greek and Roman archetypes that are the basis of western astrology.  Shamanic Egyptian Astrology is a language of wholeness based upon the neteru of ancient Egypt.

Kundalini Life Force Energy

Kundalini life force energy, also called Holy Spirit, Pranic energy, Chi, or Shakti, is often depicted as a snake in many shamanic and religious traditions, including Christianity.  The story of Eve being tempted by the serpent to eat the apple is really about biting fully into life and embodying the wisdom of the Gods, which we have the right to do because we are their children. Life force energy is like a serpent that uncoils up our spine and opens up our minds, bodies, hearts and spirits, connecting them with divine source, vibrating and shaking out anything that needs to go.  It is only dangerous to the ego mind and if you hold on too tightly it can be very painful.  But if you can let go of ego attachments day by day and surrender to source and open your heart all will be well.  I have had many kundalini awakenings, some gentle, some not so gentle.  When the great snake comes she is claiming you.  When she sinks her fangs into you, you are hers and there is no turning back.  If you are interested in learning more about Kundalini and the Serpent energy, check out my Anubis Oracle Deck or my Shamanic Mysteries of Egypt book read about Wadjet.   She is the great Kundalini Mother serpent who destroys ignorance and greed and shakes us up so we can move towards our divine purpose.   You can follow the rituals in the book to help you on your way.   You can get a free reading from the Anubis Oracle at www.anubisoracle.com.

Finding True Security

Woman in our society and many cultures have often looked outside of ourselves for security.  That often falls as an outer projection onto a male figure, or a male God or authority figure. When women can find their inner security in the power and essence of their own true being they are free to be exactly who they really are.  Letting go of security is the lesson of spider who knows that she carries everything within herself for her true security.

We are so blessed to be the land stewards of this amazing piece of heaven on earth called Isis Cove Community Retreat Center.  We have already created three outdoor temples here, one for Spirit, on for Fire and one for Earth and we are in planning stages of creating the Air and Water temples here.  These temples are for all people of all faiths to come and commune with nature, to refresh and revitalize and to download their own visions of how we can all steward this planet together.
